Machtelt Garrels updated The LDP process flowcharts based on the comments that she received from various peopled who looked at the earlier versions.
In case you are looking for Tim Small's IPMI on Linux HOWTO at http://buttersideup.com/docs/howto/IPMI_on_Debian.html but cannot get the document, Greg Ferguson has uploaded a copy to http://ibiblio.org/gferg/ldp/IPMI_on_Debian.html. Review comments on the document may be sent to Tim Small.
Machtelt Garrels, in response to an email on the <feedback@en.tldp.org> mailing list, wrote to Trevor Woerner asking him if he was interested in contributing a document that he wrote to The LDP and explained the process of submission. Trevor responded with pointers to his work http://geek.vtnet.ca/docs.html, http://geek.vtnet.ca/doc/initcall/index.html and http://geek.vtnet.ca/doc/initcall/initcall.tar.bz2. Rahul Sundaram posted his comments on the draft version, and Trevor indicated that he would post a revised version shortly. Machtelt indicated that being proactive and inviting authors to LDP is probably a good thing to do.
Stein Gjoen pointed out that Tim Small did not get any feedback on his IPMI on Linux (specifically Debian) HOWTO at http://buttersideup.com/docs/howto/IPMI_on_Debian.html. Stein suggested a few improvements to the LDP process to not let proposals slip by. Y Giridhar Appaji Nag said that the process would be easy if The LDP had a bug tracking system.
